Sticky "gunk" on serpentine belt & pulleys: How do I clean this off? - gunk degreaser
"My wife Prestone Spray ribbed serpentine pulley (the good intentions had :-)), Town Car '96, now grinding belt and the belts and pulleys are gunk-up w / a black and sticky like really dry-rotted rubber adhesive, than "waste" - exit slot belt marks on his finger, but not so thick that no evidence was hanged for anythingelse-off in the wellness department. girdle does not have the "dry rot" chemical effect (of clothing or other) - The car ran well for about 3 weeks and has not yet certain whether this is not the case (?) (m you, "said [!]). Today belt should be replaced, but in any case before it, like / and what should I clean the rollers, even if the soil is not water soluble.
Say I read a few passages, the brakes and CARB cleaning or degreasing used, which appears reasonable, but what good is to make sure Ive got everything out? "These chemicals would be bad for my new rubber band - & amp, I do not think soap and water, nothing w / what I believe to be (kerosene oil) on the basis of "substance"
Thanks in advance!
